I have always felt that AI has been overstated for the last 50+ years. In fact learnt and used LISP in the 1980’s and 90’s. Also you need intelligence in the first place before you even recognize that there is anything artificial that even resembles that. Going the other way, I have always recognized IQ (being even a Mensa International member and National Convening member of mensa India), as IQ may or may NOT be useful to an individual knowing it, understanding it and the theory and practice of IQ (you can add EQ and Gardener’s intelligence’s and all the xQ’s you want), there is such a thing as Enterprise Intelligence or the collective IQ of the set of individuals in a Corporate Team. Board IQ, Management, IQ, Team IQ, the IQ is equivalent of a termite mound, bee hive or bird flock and what is the goal and what needs to be achieved. Look around there is Intelligence everywhere. Copying any of it is bio-mimicry and adaptation by the human being. There are variants and varieties of Intelligence and I totally recognize the essence of this article. Perhaps we can all add more to this.
